This course is to equip you with the fundamentals of software safety assurance, focussing on the skills and knowledge you need to effectively and safely procure safety critical, software driven assets in the UK railway industry. In particular it's designed to equip you with the knowledge you need to effectively oversee assurance of rail assets in compliance with the GB rail industry standard RIS 0745-CCS “Client Safety Assurance of High Integrity Software-based Systems for Railway Applications."
